Week Ahead
This is Riley Chen’s day-by-day view of 28 September–4 October 2026. The individual Monday and Friday files expand the start and end of the workweek; the other days stay short here so the plan remains readable at a glance.
Fixed points and flexible space
Riley’s library shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00–17:00. Wednesday is the weekday for the electricity bill and a laundry load. Noor is cooking Tuesday dinner; Riley will check with Noor on Sunday before assigning the remaining meals. Saturday’s walk with Maya is an invitation to confirm, not a booked event. Friday evening remains a buffer.
Daily route
- Monday — set the base: Review shift notes at 08:15; shop from the short grocery list on the way home; clear the kitchen counter for ten minutes. The Monday Plan has the exact sequence and a fallback.
- Tuesday — protect energy: Bring lunch to the library; walk for 20 minutes after work if rested; thank Noor for handling dinner and check whether anything is needed for Wednesday.
- Wednesday — home admin: Pay the electricity bill using the official account, record the confirmation, run one laundry load, and check the budget for the rest of the week.
- Thursday — prepare the handoff: Work the library shift, pack Friday’s lunch, and ask Maya by 18:00 whether Saturday’s walk suits her.
- Friday — close the loops: Hand off the display notes before leaving work, buy the remaining groceries, and keep the evening uncommitted. The Friday Plan separates must-do tasks from optional ones.
- Saturday — connection and recovery: Take the walk with Maya if confirmed; otherwise choose a solo route. Read for 30 minutes and leave the afternoon open.
- Sunday — reset rather than catch up: Wash towels, choose three dinners with Noor, and spend 20 minutes checking next week’s calendar.
If the week changes
- Move a missed walk to a different day without doubling the next session.
- If Wednesday admin slips, prioritize the bill before discretionary errands.
- If a library shift runs late, use Friday’s buffer rather than borrowing time from sleep.
The Home & Household branch holds the repeatable chore and bill steps; Personal Goals holds the movement and connection checklists. This page determines when those pieces fit, while the focused files explain how.
